Aurum Bot — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By adding Aurum (“the Bot”) to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use.
2. Description of Service
Aurum is a Discord bot that provides:
- An economy system (coins, gambling, shop, vault)
- A leveling and XP system
- Server management tools (role assignment, channel management)
- A premium subscription tier with enhanced features
3. Eligibility
- You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service to use this Bot.
- You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Bot.
- Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their members use the Bot appropriately.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Exploit, abuse, or manipulate the economy system through bugs, automation, or unauthorized methods
- Use the Bot to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Bot’s code without permission
- Use self-bots, macros, or automation to gain unfair advantages in the economy system
- Attempt to access or tamper with data belonging to other users or servers
Violations may result in your user or server being permanently banned from using the Bot.
5. Virtual Economy
- All coins, XP, levels, vault balances, and items within Aurum are virtual and have no real-world monetary value.
- Virtual currency and items cannot be exchanged for real money, cryptocurrency, or any real-world goods or services.
- The developer reserves the right to reset, adjust, or remove any user’s economy data at any time for abuse, violations, or maintenance.
6. Premium Subscription
6.1 Keys
- Premium is activated using a one-time-use key purchased through official channels.
- Each key activates 30 days of premium for one server.
- Keys are non-transferable once redeemed and cannot be refunded once activated.
- Only the server owner may redeem a premium key.
6.2 Features
- Premium features are clearly marked in the Bot’s help panel.
- When premium expires, premium-exclusive features are locked but all free features remain fully functional.
- The developer reserves the right to modify the features included in premium at any time.
6.3 Refunds
- Keys that have not been redeemed may be eligible for a refund. Contact the developer within 48 hours of purchase.
- Redeemed keys are non-refundable.
7. Global Announcements
The Bot developer may send global announcements to all servers the Bot is in. These will be sent to the server’s designated notification channel (or a fallback channel) and may ping server management roles. Server owners may set a dedicated notification channel using ev!setnotifchannel.
8. Bot Availability
- Aurum is provided as-is with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or continued availability.
- The developer is not liable for any downtime, data loss, or issues arising from use of the Bot.
- The Bot may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
9. Server Administrator Responsibilities
- Server admins are responsible for how they configure and use the Bot within their communities.
- Admins must not use admin commands (such as
giverole, givetitle, or economy manipulation) to harm, exploit, or unfairly advantage members.
- Admins are responsible for ensuring the Bot is configured in compliance with Discord’s Community Guidelines.
10. Intellectual Property
- The Bot’s code, design, and assets are the intellectual property of the developer.
- You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Bot without explicit written permission.
11. Termination
The developer reserves the right to:
- Remove the Bot from any server at any time
- Ban any user or server from using the Bot for violations of these Terms
- Revoke premium access without refund in cases of abuse or violations
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot, including but not limited to loss of virtual currency, data, or access.
13. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced via the Bot’s global announcement system.
